Products & Solutions

BioSig-ID™ is a patented dynamic biometric software technology developed by Biometric Signature ID (BSI) for identity verification using multi-factor authentication. BioSig-ID™ requires no dedicated hardware and can be used with just a mouse, stylus, touchpad, or touchscreen. The software measures unique behavioral characteristics as a person draws with a pointing device.

Users create a password consisting of 3 or more letters, numbers, or symbols and draw these on the computer screen. The way a person draws this password is captured and broken down into basic elements including speed, direction, length, height, width, angle, and number of strokes. These elements are compared during subsequent sign-in attempts to determine whether the user is the same person who created the profile.

BioSig-ID™ is activated by holding the left mouse button down and drawing 3 or more characters on a rectangular drawing pad. A one-time enrollment consists of drawing the same password 3 times. Click-ID is an alternative security layer that uses a picture password in which the user selects and clicks on certain features or objects in a picture. After the initial enrollment in both systems, all that is required going forward is for the user to simply draw the same password created during enrollment. If the user cannot validate with BioSig-ID™, he or she can use Click-ID to sign in to the system.
